Richard D. Gee, age 53, of Hobart, passed away September 15, 2016. He graduated from Hobart High School in 1982. Richard was always willing to help a friend or stranger. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Richard was preceded in death by his Dad-Lawrence Gee. He is survived by his loving mom-Ann Gee; brother-Mike Gee; sister-Laura Gee; girlfriend-Linda McMullen. Funeral service for Richard will be Monday, September 19, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 East 7th Street, Hobart. Friends may visit with his family on Monday from 1-6:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN., on Tuesday, September 20, 2016.
