OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, DECEMBER 24, 2014:

Besse, Patricia A. Crown Point, Indiana. Age 59, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014. She was born on December 26, 1954 in Gary, Indiana to the late Robert and Dorothy (nee Spratley) Keefe. She married Mark R. Beese on November 6, 1976 at St. Bridget's Church in Hobart. Patricia was a retired Porter Memorial ICU secretary. She was an avid Bingo player at the Elks and a member of the Valparaiso Moose.

She is survived by her husband, Mark R. of Crown Point; five brothers, Arthur (Gail) Keefe of Tennessee, James (Alisa) Keefe of Portage, John (Nancy) Keefe of Portage, David (Barb) Keefe of Colorado and Carl Keefe of Florida; six sisters, Margaret Berg of Portage, Robin Mosley of Maryland, Lydia (Bill) Crew of Hobart, Judith Astin of Hobart, Joyce (Dennis Camp) Adkisson of Hammond and Joan (Richard) Brooks of Union Mills; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, great-great nieces and other loving family members and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Bobby Keefe; and other loving family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia's name can be donated to Centier Bank, in Mark Besse's name at 1501 S. Court St., Crown Point, In 46307. A funeral service for Patricia will be Friday, December 26, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be Friday, December 26, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until time of service also at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel (219) 942-2109 or extend online condolences at www.reesfuneralhomes.com.
