OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, JANUARY 24, 2016:

Sharon Dujmovich, age 77 of Hobart, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016.

She is survived by her husband, Martin of 57 years; four children: Beth (Cortie) Wilson, Richard, Curt, and Mark (Alice) Dujmovich; seven grandchildren: Scot (Kacie), Cortie III, and Taylor Wilson; Sharon (David) Henley, Laura, Collin, and Daniel Dujmovich; three great grandchildren: Ayden, Cameron, and Irelyn; sister, Sheila Salyards; and her nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents Thomas and Charlotte Downey; grandson, Kevin Dujmovich; sister Carol Powell; and daughter-in-law, Theresa Dujmovich.

Mrs. Dujmovich was a longtime member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and the Rosary Sodality. She volunteered at St. Mary Medical Center for about 15 years after retiring from Hobart Meat Locker with 25 years of service. Sharon was a graduate of St. Bridget Catholic Grade School and Hobart High School, Class of 1956. She played in her Ladies Bunco Club for over 60 years with her close friends.

Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway, Merrillville) on Monday from 2:00- 8:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 2:30 P.M. and a St. Mary Auxiliary service at 3:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. DIRECTLY from SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church (5885 Harrison St., Merrillville) with Rev. Joseph Vamos. There will be visitation at the church half hour prior to services. Cremation will follow the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in her name.
