Diana P. Gymrek, age 81 of Portage, IN passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. She was born on March 10, 1938 in Gary, IN to Peter and Anna (Mucha) Gymrek.

Diana is survived by her son, Robert (Kamela) Luwpas; daughter, Lisa (Jeffrey) Mosier; brother, Paul Gymrek; grandchildren, Jessica (Derek), Matthew (Stephanie), Cathy Jo, Clinton and Carrie (Adam); 5 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Joseph Luwpas and sister, Geraldine West.

Diana was a member of First United Methodist Church of Portage where she was very active volunteering at the rummage sales and was a member of the Prayer Team. She enjoyed knitting and was a huge Hobart High School Brickie Football team. Diana was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be deeply missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 5:00 pm at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN 46368 with Pastor Michael Lawson officiating. A Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 4:00 pm until time of service at 5:00 pm.
