Jack R. Tapper, age 78 of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandra; four children: Lynnette (Joseph Redelman) Mills, Jackie Andrews, Jack Tapper, Jr., Christine (Eric) Koczur; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Terry Tapper; best friends, Grant and Sandy Fussell; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Gertrude Tapper; brother, Freddie Tapper; two great-grandchildren.

Jack worked at NIPSCo and was the owner of Ameratronic Industries. He was an avid bowler and golfer, Cubs and Blackhawks fan, and loved to travel...especially to Hawaii.
