OBITUARY FROM CHICAGO TRIBUNE, MARCH 10, 2015:

Terrance L. "Terry" Nibbe, age 70 of Hobart passed away Monday, March 9, 2015. He was born in Gary, Indiana on May 12, 1944. Terry was a lifelong area resident. He served his country in Vietnam in the US Army. Terry enjoyed raising his chickens, his one goose, and his one duck.

He is survived by his mother, Gloria L. Nibbe of Hobart, IN; 5 brothers, Loren (Jerilynne) Nibbe of Santa Barbara, CA; Ken (Gail) Nibbe of Cosby, TN; Jerry Nibbe of Bella Vista, AR; Norman G. Nibbe of Kalamazoo, MI; Rick (Deborah) Nibbe of Highlands, TX; 3 sisters, Starr (Lloyd) Little of Mont Belview, TX; Irma Nibbe of Hobart, IN; Vicki (Tony) Puentes of Hobart, IN; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Nibbe.

Memorial donations in Terry's honor may be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 1841 East Summit Street, Crown Point, IN 46307 or to the Hobart Humane Society, 2054 E. State Road 130, Hobart, IN 46342.
