Diane S. Springman (Talian) Princeton, MN / formally Hobart, IN age 72 passed away on October 23rd, 2014 at the Elim Home in Princeton, MN.

Diane Shirley Springman (Talian) was born on October 16, 1942, in Gary Indiana daughter of Emery Talian and Mary (Mazepa) Talian. She was raised and educated in Hobart, Indiana and a graduate of Hobart High School. She was united in marriage to Roger A. Springman on September 9, 1961 in Hobart, IN.

In Diane’s early years she worked for Hobart High School, upon moving to Minnesota she enjoyed their hobby farm, later to be employed at Princeton High School and H&R Block. She then became self-employed for 11 years with Tree in’a Tray. Diane volunteered her time at St. Edward’s Catholic Church (Princeton, MN) as a Religious Studies teacher and active in choir. Later she was involved with St. Emily’s Catholic Church with the Woman’s Circle (Smile Lady) and Bell Choir. She enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing and gardening.

Preceded in death by husband, Roger; brother, Joseph and parents. Survived by sons, Lon (Shari) Springman, Jeffery Springman, Daniel (Jackie) Springman; daughters, Tina (David Neston) Springman, Rebecca (Robert) Anderson, Jodi (David) Miller; 8 grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas, Sawyer, Aimee, Chase, Madison, Reilly and Jackson; brothers, Ted (Mary) Talian, Jerry Talian, and sister-in-law, Shirley (Richard) Johnson.

Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Christ Our Light Catholic Church in Princeton, viewing 1 hour prior. Inurnment will be at Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery, Little Falls, MN with military honors to be held at a later date. www.GILLBROTHERS.com.
