OBITUARY FROM THE NW INDIANA TIMES, MARCH 22, 2017:
George L. Hagle, 76, of Monon, passed away March 18, 2017, in Monticello, IN. He was born December 27, 1940, in Valparaiso to the late George Willis and Persis (Childers) Hagle. On May 7, 1971, in Crown Point, he married Constance "Connie" Jean Hensley, she survives. George retired from Yellow Freight Trucking Company of South Chicago, IL, and was a Union Stewart and Organizer from Teamsters Local #710 of Chicago, IL.
Surviving are wife, Connie J. Hagle of Monon; son, Robby (Terry) Hagle of Hebron; grandchildren, twins, Austin and Braddon, and Heather Hegel, all at home in Hebron; and sisters, Pat Jackson of Portage, Shirley (Lewis) Werner of Wheatfield, Darlene Meyers of Cedar Lake, and Sandra (Jack) Clark of Schererville. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. (EDT), March 23, 2017, at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello.
Veterans Honor Guard Services by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard of Monticello will be at 8:00 p.m. (EDT), March 23, 2017, at the funeral home, followed by Celebration of Life Service.
