Leonard “Lenny” Yarsh, age 75 of Hobart, passed away May 13, 2016. He was retired from U.S. Steel after 39 years of service. Lenny was a proud member of The American Contract Bridge League. He was a dedicated White Sox fan and an avid chess player. Lenny was lovingly known by his family as “Monster Man.”

He was preceded in death by his parents – Leonard and Eleanor; sister – Lynn. Lenny is survived by his loving wife – Leah; 2 daughters – Vicki (Mike) Nelson, and Cindy ( Mike) Draia; grandson – Brad (Marie) Yarsh; granddaughters – Allison (Brett) Vester, and Erica Sanetznik; 2 great- grandsons – Milo Yarsh, and Wyatt Vester; brother – Thomas Jeffrey Yarsh; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Friends may visit with Lenny’s family on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 4p.m.until a time of remembrance service at 6 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th St., Hobart.
