Linda Morris (Marlow) - Class Of 1967

OBITUARY FROM THE BRAZIL (IN) TIMES:
 
Linda Ann Marlow, 69, Belleview, FL, passed away at Ted & Diane Brandley House, a hospice care facility in Summerfield, Florida, on Friday 24 August 2018. The cause was stroke. At her request, no service will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Indiana.
 
Born 11 August 1949, in Gary, Indiana to Everett and Norma (White) Morris she attended Hobart High School and later Brazil High school. On 10 September 1967, Linda married Larry Gene Marlow.
Linda lived many places in Indiana before settling in Florida with Larry in 2013. Linda also loved traveling having seen much of the U.S. while also visiting Europe and Ecuador. Larry and Linda traveled across many of the Midwestern and Southern states on their motorcycle. Linda was an avid reader, crossword puzzle master, enjoyed cooking shows, and loved a family game night. She was also an at home Jeopardy master! Linda was also an excellent cook and many a disagreement arose over who would get the last piece of her Christmas fudge.
 
Early in her marriage, Linda worked at CBS records in Terre Haute, IN before leaving to raise her two children. Later she returned to the work force at Meneely Construction. She had many stories about her work “kids” Duke and Joey and enjoyed the work very much. She had many talents and it turned out that construction work was one of them.
 
Linda was many things to many people but she was first and foremost a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
 
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Larry Marlow, son Sean (Roanne) Marlow of Huntertown, IN, daughter Vanessa Ferguson of Belleview, FL, granddaughters Hannah Marlow of Terre Haute, IN, Rachel Wilson of Memphis, TN, and Olivia Ferguson of Belleview, FL, step-grandson Brendan Holland of Bloomington, IN, step-granddaughter Rylee Holland of Huntertown, IN, sister Vicki Kessler, brother William (Suna) Morris, brother Charles (Debbie) Morris, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to express special thanks for the loving help and care given by all the staff at Ted & Diane Brandley House in Summerfield, FL. If desired, family and friends may make a memorial donation in Linda’s name to Ted & Diane Brandley House or their local hospice care facility.
