Kaye E. Johnston (nee Campbell), age 79 of Kouts, formerly of Hobart, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, May 15, 2016. She attended Hobart High School and retired from the apparel center of Merchandise Mart in Chicago after 25 years. Kaye loved the city of Chicago. She was a loving mother and Granny K. Kaye will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her brother, George Campbell. Kaye is survived by her loving daughters: Kris (late Dan) Shocaroff and Elizabeth (Gary Bruce) Hunker, and Kimberly Martin; son, Jeffery (Jeanne) Johnston; grandchildren: Tiffany Kistler, Samantha (Matt) Raundswinder, Brooke Eiginger, Justin Eiginger, Alison Hunker, J.T. Hunker, Kaitlin (Casey) Wojcehowski, Laurie (Drew) Jones; great-grandchildren: Sloan, Kelsey, Madison, Aaron, Oliver, Scarlett, Amanda, Cooper, and Caine; her boys- Jake and Kevin.
