David Henley - Class Of 1955

OBITUARY FROM BURNS FUNERAL HOME WEBSITE, AUGUST 26, 2016:

David L. Henley, age 79, of Hobart, passed away August 21, 2016. He worked at Union Carbide most of his life. David was a loyal Brickie fan with many friends. He was a dedicated husband and father and was loved dearly.

David was preceded in death by his son-Michael Jay; parents-Wayne and Lavinia Henley; daughter-Sandy; granddaughter-Nicole Enrico; brother-James, father and mother-in-law, Arthur Kurth and Dorothy; brother-in-law John Dravet. He is survived by his loving wife-Mary Jane; daughters-Kathy (Tom) Miller, Darlene (Mark) Wilfong; grandchildren-Kaitlyn and Nathaniel, Erika, Deana, Stefanie, Josh, Sara, Danielle; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law-Marge Henley; sister-in-law-Joanne Dravet; brother-in-law-Arthur (Alice) Kurth; close childhood friend-Tom (Rosemarie) Ehrhardt and Jack Graham; dear friends-Don Shinneman, and the Baker family; many nieces and nephews.

Per David’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hobart Humane Society in David’s name. Burns Funeral Home, Hobart, entrusted with arrangements. www.burnsfuneral.com.
