OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, APRIL 20, 2016:

Steven Shiyan, age 78, of Hobart, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2016. Steven was a retired machinist and also worked many years at U.S. Steel and long time employee at Industrial Steel. He also owned and operated Shiyon's Barbeque Lamb and Pig.

Steven was preceded in death by his daughter, Marcine Pennock; mother, Connie and father, Steven Shiyan; sister, Loretta Wheeler; his two dogs he loved dearly, Lulu and Oliver. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Shiyan; two sons, MSteven IV (Cathy) Shiyan, Michael Shiyan; loving grandchildren.
