Richard A. Blaszkiewicz, 66, Indianapolis, IN passed away August 5, 2014. He was born March 11, 1948 in Amarillo, Texas.
Survivors: wife, Maria A. (Lopez) Blaszkiewicz; children, Leslie Smith, Vicki Bowman, Sabrina Arnold and Nick Thompson; brother, Steven Blaszkiewicz and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur 5463 Kentucky Ave. Indianapolis a Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 p.m

I am saddened to hear about richard passing. We worked together at a local delivery company out of wheeler and he would always give me advice. He was the big brother i never had during that 5 year span, and of course we would always talk about Hobart sports. When Rich moved to Indy i would stop in at Pauls Place ever now and then and ask at the restuarant about if Rich had been in town lately. I graduated with Steve and new Mr.B way back to the little league days. I send my deepest condolences to the family. Jon Chontos Hobart class of 73'
