Martha "Mickey" Shapley (nee Raiza), age 82 of Hobart, passed away on May 12, 2015. She was a graduate of Hobart High School, class of 1950. Mickey worked as a travel agent for over 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Lorna Raiza; husbands, Donald R. Tilley and John Shapley; granddaughter, Elizabeth Tilley; brother, Dick Raiza and nephew, R. O. Raiza. She is survived by her son, Donald O. (Michele) Tilley of Wheatfield; daughter, Susan Shapley and her partner Gina Bujalski of TX; grandchildren: Tessa, Donald J. (Katie) and Michael; two nieces: Becky (Larry) Juzwicki and Cindy (Dr. Mark) Carter both of Hobart; brother-in-law, Donald (Paula) Shapley of Lowell; sisters-in- law: Sr. Marlene Shapley of Indianapolis and Claudia (Walter) Murtaugh of TX; BFF, Gloria Hallas of Hobart; furry friend, Molly.

A Celebration of Mickey's life will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th Street, Hobart, IN, Rev. John Starr officiating.
