OBITUARY FROM THE FRAZIER FUNERAL HOME (DEMOTTE, IN) WEBSITE, MAY 15, 2018:
Marietta Elizabeth Mills 88 of DeMotte passed away on May 15, 2018 at St. Anthony Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Born on August 16, 1929 in Gary, Indiana to the late Byron (Opal Stark) Shelby. Marietta was a 1946 graduate of Hobart High School. Marietta then married Silas Lee Mills on July 4, 1947 in Hobart, Indiana. Marietta worked for Walmart, Montgomery Wards, and Sears as a Layaway Manager. Marietta was a lifelong member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hobart, and Faith Lutheran Church in Kirksville, Missouri.
Marietta was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Silas, daughter; Cynthia, siblings; Walter, Rowena, Reif, Keith, Leah and Burt, great granddaughter; Lily. Survived by children; Jerry(Pam) Mills, Mark (Laura) Mills, Terrie (Larry) Potter, as well as many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
A visitation for Marietta will be held on Friday May 18, 2018 from 11 AM until the time of services at 1 PM at the Frazier Funeral Home Chapel 621 S. Halleck Street DeMotte, Indiana 46310, burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Hobart. Marietta will be deeply [missed].
