Marilyn J. Brennan, age 82 of Hobart, passed away peacefully February 2, 2014. Marilyn was a member and past organist at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hobart, where she served as past president of the Mary Martha Circle. She was also the chaplain for the VFW Auxiliary #1563. Marilyn worked in the clerical department of Bethlehem Steel for over 30 years.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her brother- Michael Krause; and sister- Judy Jones.
She is survived by her loving husband- John “Jack” Brennan; son- Rodney (Ann) Bloom ; daughters- Amy Gregory (Tim Welch) and Kimberly (Brian) DeQuis; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; sister- Lenore (Ernest) Moehl; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit with Marilyn’s family on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 2 to 7 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, Hobart. A funeral service will be held Friday, February 7 at 10 a.m. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6240 Grand Blvd., Hobart, IN. Marilyn will lie in state from 9:30-10 a.m. Pastor Frederick Lams officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
