Kelsey J. McKinney (nee Mireles), age 25, of Hobart, IN, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017.
Kelsey is survived by her husband, Travis McKinney; son, Wyatt McKinney; parents: Carrie and Jeff Bean of Hobart, IN; father, Demas Mireles of Portage, IN; grandmother, Bonnie Mills of Hobart, IN; sister, Leleigh Bean of Hobart, IN; many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lois Pennock; great grandparents: Wilbur and Anita Lamberth; aunt, Linda Lamberth; great aunt, Ruth Garrison.
Kelsey was a graduate of Hobart High School. She was a loving wife and mother. Kelsey never let her illness get the best of her. She was loved by all who met her. Kelsey will be deeply missed by all.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Geisen Funeral & Cremation Services, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Geisen Funeral & Cremation Services, Merrillville, IN, with Bruce Vermilyer officiating. Interment will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.
