George R. Darling, 81, of Bermuda Dunes, Calif. passed away August 20, 2013, in Bermuda Dunes. He was born March 13, 1932, to George O. Darling and Mabel Richards in Hobart, Ind. He married Frances M. Manna on May 9, 1959 in Gary, Ind. He was self employed as well as working at Woodhaven Country Club for 18 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Loretta Darling of Gilbert, Ariz.; sons, Brian Darling, of San Diego, Calif., Mark Darling of Chandler, Ariz., and Ron Darling of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; sisters, Lyn Darling of Hendersonville, Tenn. and June Markle of Ogden Dunes, Ind. He is also survived by one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances M. Darling.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 2 pm to 6 pm at Forest Lawn Indio. Private interment will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Mesa, Ariz. Forest Lawn Memorial Parks & Mortuaries.
