Richard "Ricky" Messina 40 of Hobart passed away on January 3, 2020. He was born on June 12, 1979 in Crown Point, Indiana to Pasquale Joseph “Pat” (Rebecca Sonnier) Messina. Ricky was a 1997 graduate of Hobart High School, and enjoyed music and reading.

Ricky is survived by his parents; Pasquale Joseph”Pat”(Becky) Messina, siblings; Joe (Kimberly) Messina and Sarah Miller.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday January 11, 2020 at 2 PM in the Southlake Worship Center 3440 W. 61st Avenue, Hobart, Indiana 46342 with Pastor Sam Abbott officiating, friends may visit and share memories with the family from 12 (Noon) until the celebration of life service at 2 PM.
