Obituary for Myrtle Trubey

Myrtle Trubey, born May 1, 1923, passed away November 6, 2025, at the age of 102. She was a lifelong resident of Hobart, Indiana. Myrtle was an avid traveler and member of Trinity Lutheran Church, LWML, and the Retired Teachers Association.
She worked at Paul Heuring Ford, owned Rexair Franchise, and retired from Hobart Schools in 1988 as a teacher.
Myrtle was proceeded in death by her husband Russell Trubey, parents; Emil and Rosella Henschel, sisters; Marie Ewen (Glen), Ruth Rogers, niece; Mary Ewen Herring and nephew; Jerry Ewen.

She is survived by sister; Diane McCoy, nephews and nieces; Glen Allen Ewen (Marlene), Joanne Ewen, Nancy Wilson (George), Cindy Beheba (Steve), Shirley Staples (Mark), Dean Ewen (Linda), Tom Rogers (Becky), Wayne Rogers (Wendy), multiple great nieces and nephews, and friends.

A visitation for Myrtle will take place Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church 900 Luther Drive Hobart, Indiana 46342 with Rev. Nathan Kramer officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park 3815 West 39th Avenue Hobart, Indiana 46342.
