Jerry Alan Nibbe, 78, passed away on July 26th, 2026.

Jerry was born in Gary, Indiana, and raised in Hobart, Indiana, as part of a large and loving family of nine brothers and sisters. He was drafted into the United States Army, where he proudly served his country. In 1977, he relocated to Arkansas, where he built a life for himself and his family.

He was preceded in passing by his daughter, Andreana (2009); his parents, Norman and Gloria; and his brothers, Terry and Kenny.

He is survived by his son Luke and daughter-in-law Niki (grandchildren Elise, Emily, and Alyssa), Laurie, a lifelong friend, and his siblings Loren (Jerilynne) Nibbe, Starr (Lloyd) Little, Norman "Skip" Nibbe, Irma Nibbe, Rick (Deborah) Nibbe, and Vicki (Tony) Puentes.

Jerry loved spending time with his grandchildren, watching the Cubs, playing chess, and woodworking. He also coached softball, sharing his love of the game with others. Jerry always wore a smile and had a gift for finding the positive in life, a spirit that touched everyone who knew him.
