OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, AUGUST 14, 2008:

Kathleen Bridget Long, age 60, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2008. She worked for CTT Trucking and also for Methodist Hospital in the business office. She was a member of American Legion Post #454 Ladies Auxiliary and member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Jessie Long; 1 son, Richard Long of Hobart; 4 daughters, Roxanne (Paquin Rodriguez) Long of Lake Station, Tina Long of Valparaiso, Leeanne Long of Portage, and Donna (Scott) Prescott of Whiting; 3 brothers, Aaron (Faye) Williams of Portage, Daniel Williams of Hobart and James Williams of WI; 3 sisters, Marcia (Tom) Tan of OH, Denise (Bill) Franko of Hobart, Julie (Daniel) Terrill of TX; 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; 1 brother-in-law, James Long of LA; 2 sisters-in-law, Carol (Jim) Bratty of FL, Nancy (Junior) Kirk of FL. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Bernice Williams, one daughter, Barbara Rivera, and in-laws, Dudley and Nancy Long.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 15, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at Kraft Funeral Services, 370 N. County Line Rd., Hobart. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Hobart.
