Barbara A. O’Hara, age 66 of Portage, IN passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. She was born on August 15, 1946 in Gary, IN to Collin and Marjorie (Weitbrock) Erwin, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 ½ years, Michael O’Hara of Portage, IN; sons, Michael (Linda) O’Hara Jr. of Fullerton, CA, Joe (Lynn) O’Hara of LaPorte, IN; brother, Thomas (Vicci) Erwin of Yorba Linda, CA; grandchild, McKenna O’Hara.

Barbara loved attending her granddaughter’s softball games; she was the Rippers number one fan. She also enjoyed volunteering her time at the Portage Food Pantry and shopping at her favorite store, Wal-Mart.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN 46368, with Deacon Bonta officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00pm at the Funeral Home. Memorial Donations in Barbara’s name may be made to the Portage Food Pantry, P.O. Box 1582 Portage, IN 46368. Cremation services handled by Heritage Crematory.
