OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, MARCH 1, 2009:

Kurt T. Gauder of Valparaiso, loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, age 55, passed away Wednesday February 25, 2009 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Survived by his wife, Barbara (Davis); 4 children: Ron Mueller of Louisville, KY (Andrew, David, Mark), Mike (Patti) Mueller of Kouts (Ashley, Kyle, Molly), Amy (Craig) Mattes of Plainfield, IL (Will), Steven (Karen) Mueller of Fort Bragg, NC (Emily, Gabby, Grace); Kurt's parents, John and Marlin Gauder of Hobart; sister, Nancy Gauder of Indianapolis; and brother, John (Penny) Gauder of Franklin, TN (Allyson.) Kurt was a graduate of Valparaiso University. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was the General Manager of National Industrial Lumber Company in Gary.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 - 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
