Robert Bruce Preniczny - Class Of 1971

OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, AUGUST 3, 2006:

ROBERT BRUCE PRENICZNY Chanhassen, Minnesota formerly Hobart, Indiana Age 52, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2006 surrounded by his family in Chanhassen, MN. Bob, a non-smoker, lost his seven month battle to lung cancer. He graduated from Hobart High School in 1971 and went on to earn his BSME degree from Tri State University, MSME from Notre Dame and MBA from Indiana University.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Renee; son, Michael; daughter, Kristen; father, Robert Prezny; mother, Hallie Preniczny; and brother, Scott Preniczny; aunt, Dr. Beth Przeniczny; uncle and aunt, Don and Dee Shinneman; mother-in-law, Rosalind Beard; brothers-in-law, Michael, Kedric and Kevin Beard; godfather, John Sassano; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beth Ann, maternal grandparents, Lester and Sally Edna Shinneman, and paternal grandparents, Peter and Caroline Przeniczny.

He retired from Honeywell after 25+ years where he had been Director of Engineering and Program Management. Bob was an expert in the Aerospace field with several patents and continued working as a consultant.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 5, 2006, at the Pleasant View Church of Christ, Angola, IN. Preferred donations would be to the American Cancer Society for specifically Lung Cancer Research.
