Cookie "Dorothy" Wilson age 73, of Hobart Indiana, passed away January 22, 2026. She was born in Gary Indiana on December 21, 1952. She was a graduate of Hobart High School, Class of 1971. On December 20, 1975, she married the love of her life, Ronald Wilson. Cookie was a homemaker who loved to be with her kids. Riding bikes, fishing, crafting...she did it all! When ever you saw Cookie out and about, she was wearing something with Mickey Mouse or red, white, and blue, and of course a smile! She loved movies and music. One of her favorite things was to walk in the Hobart 4th of July parade with the Marine corps league Howlin' Mad Detachment 93. Later on in life, she loved to be in the backyard with her grandkids playing and walking down to the corner to get ice cream, and staying in and cuddling her 2 fur babies, Susie and Sara.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Rhoda Rowley and her sister, Debra Garrison.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Ronald Wilson, children, Ben Wilson, Roni (John) Hughes and Josh Wilson. Six grandchildren, Kimberly Morgan, Zelda Wilson, Emily Hughes, Alex Wilson, Alison Hughes and Angie Wilson and 1 great-granddaughter, Willow Wilson.
