Passed away suddenly on April 8, 2009 in New Port Beach, CA. Randy was born September 6, 1953 in Hobart, IN, the son of Alfred and Mayme (Johnson) Stevenson and had lived in the Shelbyville area. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era. Randy was preceded in death by his father. On August 12, 1987, he was married to Kimberly Wesaw, who survives. Also surviving are children Kristin Sinclair of Grand Rapids, Eric Stevenson of Florida, Khett Stevenson of South Carolina, Cameron, Trevor and Jessica Stevenson, all of Plainwell; 2 grandchildren, Sage & Fawn; his mother Mayme Stevenson and a sister Sarah Stevenson, both of Indiana. Cremation has taken place in California. Arrangements will be announced for any future services in Kalamazoo and for interment at Ft. Custer National Cemetery by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made via the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
