Laurel Ann (nee Mills) Aldridge, age 61, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009. Laurel was born April 19, 1947, the daughter of Edman and Laurene Mills in Gary IN. She was a lifetime resident of Northwest IN. Laurel was a self-employed hairdresser.

She is survived by: her son, Joseph Aldridge of Valparaiso IN; mother, Laurene (nee Owens) Mills; 4 brothers, Rob Mills of Portage IN, Ed Mills of Hobart, IN, Roger (Sandy) Mills of Plymouth, IN, Jim Mills of Hobart, IN; 2 half-sisters, Debbie Howard and Cathy Harris of AL; and 2 grandchildren. Her husband, Joe Aldridge, and her father, Edman Mills preceded her in death.
