Dennis Preston Donaldson Obituary
Beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Dennis P. Donaldson passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on December 6, 1946, he grew up with a deep love of sports, a passion that shaped his life and inspired those around him.

As a proud Hobart Brickie, Denny played football with unmatched dedication and skill, earning recognition as a standout on the team. His talent led him to Bethany College, where he continued to excel on the field, even drawing the attention of several NFL teams who invited him to try out-a testament to his remarkable athleticism and determination.

In addition to his passion for sports, Dennis proudly served his country in the United States Army. His time in the service was marked by the same dedication, perseverance, and loyalty that defined every part of his life.

Beyond sports and service, he found his greatest joy in his family. He fell in love with and married his soulmate, Jane, building a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Together, they raised a family that brought him immense pride and happiness.

Dennis was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy; his brother, Chuck Donaldson; his parents, Frank and Mary Jane Bouque; and his true love, Jane. Their memories remain a cornerstone of his legacy.

He is survived by his loving daughter and son-in-love, Abby and Abe Aguirre; his devoted sons, Aaron and Adam Donaldson; and his adoring grandchildren, Hailey Donaldson and Sam Donaldson. He is also deeply mourned by his brother and sister-in-love, Joe and Bonnie Donaldson, as well as a wide circle of friends who were more like family.

Known for his kind heart, unwavering loyalty, and boundless enthusiasm for life, Dennis touched the lives of everyone he met. His love for football and his country was matched only by his love for his family. His legacy of kindness, determination, and service will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
