Joyce M. Nystrom, age 55, of Portage, IN passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at her residence. Ms. Nystrom was born on May 25, 1951 in Kentucky to the late Knute and Luella (Arndt) Nystrom. 

Survived by her brother, Frederick (Gloria) Nystrom of Portage, IN; niece, Christina Nystrom of Portage; nephew, Captain Ryan Nystrom, currently serving in Iraq; several cousins; and dear friends, among them Grace Cable of Portage. Preceded in death by her parents.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Cremation by Heritage Crematory, Portage, IN. Ms. Nystrom was a lifelong area resident and was formerly employed as an insurance clerk. Arrangements by Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN.
