Mike Farley - Class Of 1970

OBITUARY FROM THE HOBART GAZETTE (July 27, 1977)

Michael Farley, age 24, of South Haven, passed away Tuesday, July 19, at Shelby, Michigan as a result of an auto accident. Employed at Bethlehem Steel for six years as an electrician, he is survived by his wife, Diana, one daughter, Amber, at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Farley, all of Hobart; grandparents, Doc and Bertha Farley and Pearl Perkins, all of Kentucky. He was a member of U.S. Steelworkers Local 6787.

Funeral services were held from Rees Funeral Home to the Seven Dolar Shrine on Friday [July 22], with Father Mark Manzak officiating. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery.

[Note: Mike's 3-year-old daughter Muriah was also killed in the accident.]

Diana Fidrych (Alvarado) (1972)

 Mike would be so proud.  He has a daughter Amber and two grandchildren, Aiden and Mackenzie.   

Mike had such a loving, kind and happy personality.    It is so evident in his daughter and grandchildren.  Miss him so much.
