OBITUARY FROM THE POST-TRIBUNE (June 25, 2010)

David T. Rees, age 57, of Hobart, IN, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010. David was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Hobart High School. He was employed by NIPSCO as a substation electrician for many years and was active in the NIPSCO Thursday night golf league.

Dave is survived by his wife, Belinda; son, Michael (Tina) Rees of Hobart; daughter, Kristie Rees of Indianapolis; stepsons, Christopher (Maryann) Sertic of Crown Point and Nicholas Sertic of Valparaiso; grandchildren, Cole Rees and Marissa Sertic; father, Thomas Rees of Hobart; brother, Steven (Melissa) Rees of Chesterton; sister, Sherry (Ed) Eames of Henderson, NV; other loving nieces & nephews. David was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Rees.
