Phillip Carrol - Class Of 1968

OBITUARY FROM REES FUNERAL HOME WEBSITE:

Phillip L. Carrol, age 75, of Hobart passed away in his home with family in attendance. Phill was born June 13, 1950, in Gary, Indiana to the late Leonard Joseph and Betty Rose (Jones) Carrol. He retired from Chicago Communications LLC where he repaired and installed radios for many area Police Departments and companies. Phillip was the rock of his family, he loved helping and caring for everyone. He was a former boy scout and cub scout leader. He enjoyed carving and making pinwheels for the yard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Debra Carrol; two sons, Jack (Adrienne) Carrol of Hobart, and Clifton Carrol of Portage; two grandsons, Charlie and Logan; four sisters, Phyllis Gresser of Portage, Pamela (George) Draschil of Valparaiso, Peggy King of South Bend, and Patricia Mihalek of Hobart; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard Carrol and Betty Walters, a brother, Paul Carrol, and a sister, Paula Carrol.

Phillip wished to be cremated with no attended services at this time.

Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road was entrusted with his services.
