OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE: June 4, 2010
CHARLES "Mike" GOURLAY, Hobart, Indiana. Age 59, passed away on June 1, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He worked as a millwright for Midwest Service Center and served our country in the United States Army. Mike was a loving father, grandfather and friend and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his 3 children; son; Alex Gourlay of Hobart, IN; daughter, Jessica Ring of Indianapolis, IN and Danielle (Blake) Snider of Virginia; 4 grandchildren, Nicholas, Jayde, Michael and Grace. Brother David (Nena) Gourlay of Arizona; 2 sisters, Margaret (Fred) Heydrick of Maryland, Katie (Wayne) Goble of Valparaiso, IN. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Josephine Gourlay and son, Ryan Gourlay. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Rd. Memorial visitation will be Saturday, June 5, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. till time of service.
