Carol Ratliff was born January 24, 1950, and graduated from Hobart High School in 1968. She died on July 25, 2000, at the age of 50, due to complications from breast cancer treatment. She had been living in St. Louis, Missouri.

She is survived by her husband, John Aughey (HHS Class of 1969), a son, John H. Aughey, and granddaughters Carolyn, Eleanor, and Abigail.
