OBITUARY FROM THE POST-TRIBUNE, DECEMBER 17, 2010

Lynda Lenore (Sheppard) Wheeler, a lifetime resident of Hobart passed away on Friday December 10, 2010. She was employed with the Indiana Department of Child Services for over 25 years, as a regional finance manager in regions 1 and 2.

Lynda is survived by her husband George A. Wheeler, Jr., 2 daughters Shari Wheeler Andrews and Dyan Wheeler-Quilter, 4 granddaughters, Alyssa Quilter, Brynn Quilter, Kira Andrews and Kayla Quilter, 3 nieces RaeAnna Zartarski, Leigh (Don) Sullivan and Sydell Zartarski and one nephew Jeff Merrell. She is Preceeded in death by her parents Gerald W. and Phyllis Sheppard and one sister Jeryl Ann Zartarski.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday December 19, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the Kraft Funeral Services and Crematory 370 N. County Line Road, Hobart. Flowers and donations will be accepted, donations can be made to the VNA Hospice in Valparaiso.
