OBITUARY FROM BURNS FUNERAL HOME WEBSITE:
Kim Hayden, born February 15, 1959 of Westville, IN passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 28, 2025 at the age of 65.
Kim was a beautiful soul who touched the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She would always greet you with a big smile, a kind word, and a warm hug.
The simplest pleasures in life brought her great joy. She loved working in her yard, reading a good book, listening to WXRT, watching British TV, old movies and the Cubs, thrifting, birds, and cooking. But her greatest love of all was her family and friends. Kim and Jim were married for 45 years. They loved traveling, motorcycle adventures, antiquing, going to concerts, trying different restaurants and spending time with their family; Josh, Jenny, Chloe, and Violet. They were her heart and soul. She also adored her nieces and nephews and was a very big part of their lives.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Hayden; Her son Josh Hayden; Daughter in law Jenny Hayden; Granddaughters, Violet and Chloe. Also survived by her siblings, Debbie (Juan) Gutierrez; Barb (Wally) Gardner; Brian (Nicole) O'Donnell; Sister in law Susan Beilfuss; Brother in law Jeff (Kathy) Hayden; Stepmom Carol (Moe) Dopiriak; Best friend Wendy (Joe) Drzik; and all of her nieces and nephews.
She is now reunited in heaven with her mom, Carol O'Donnell; uncle, Jimmy Payton; sister, Cathy Paz; nephew, Luc Cavazos; grandparents, Jim and Lil Payton.
Kim will be leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and a spirit that will shine in our hearts forever. There will be a celebration of life this summer with a date to be determined.
