Richard "Rick" Davis, 67, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on February 2, 2026.
Born on August 20, 1958, in Hobart, Indiana, to Jean (Diederich) and William Davis, Rick earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Purdue University of Lafayette. He later built a long and successful career in information technology, serving as a Systems Analyst at Gainer Bank, where he met his wife, Barbara, and retiring as a Mainframe Architect from Fidelity Information Services after more than 30 years.
Rick was an avid outdoorsman and a dedicated volunteer with The Ozark Society, helping build and maintain trails in Buffalo National River Park. He enjoyed visiting national parks across the country, especially to photograph landscapes and night skies. A proud Eagle Scout, he carried on the family tradition shared by his father, brother, and later his son. Rick also served his community for many years as a volunteer firefighter and board member of the Liberty Volunteer Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rick is survived by his wife, Barbara; his siblings Tim (Suzie) Davis, Pam (Wade) Vaughn, Cyndi ( Jeff ) Beedle, Rhiannon Davis; children, Kali ( Jacob) Lambert, Nathan (Abby) Davis and step son Jerry ( Deidre) Cordova; grandchildren, Liam, Max, and Ezra; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held February 13th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, 650 Central Landing Blvd., Conway.
A memorial Mass will follow on February 14th at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Chapel.
