OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, FEBRUARY 22, 2006:

PEGGY M. GLUTTING Hobart, Indiana Age 47, a lifelong Hobart resident, passed away Monday, February 20, 2006 at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Peggy was a 1976 graduate of Hobart High School. She was a supervisor for many years at Comcast currently located in Homewood, Illinois. Peggy was a sister, aunt and true friend with a generous heart and a tender soul.

She is survived by 3 sisters: Barbara of Hobart, Kathy (Kent) Williams of Crown Point and Kristy (Dave) Regeski of Hebron; 2 special nephews: Jeremy Williams of Crown Point and Zachary Regeski of Hebron; 3 aunts; and numerous cousins; many good friends; and her pets, Murphy, Jingles, Julia and Emerald. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Charles A. and Donna E. (Rados) Glutting, brother-in-law, Forest Thigpen, and several aunts, uncles and a cousin.

Memorial contributions are preferred to the Hobart Humane Society or the Independent Cat Society. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 24, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Rev. Robert B. Evers, officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Visitation will be Thursday 2-8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart.
