OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, MARCH 23, 2008:

Michael John Rocco Paris, age 50, of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008.

Survived by son Justin Paris of Hobart; daughter Amanda (Frank) Mendez of Washington state; mother Antoinette "Toni" (George) Nissan of Crown Point; father Adrian (Ann) Paris of Florida; granddaughter, Ammerie Mendez; four brothers: Victor (Christina) Paris of Hobart, Richard (Camilo) Paris of Evanston, IL, Rocco (Yumi) Paris of Merrillville, Adrian Paris Jr. of Hobart; two sisters: Mary Paris-Corralez of Lake Station, Michelle Paris of Colorado; uncles and aunts: John (Diana) Paris of Valparaiso, Phillip (Otis Charles) Paris of California, Victor Schiralli of Merrillville, Samuel Schiralli of Florida, Vera (James) Krampen of Arizona; special love Debbie Hines of Schererville; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Michael was a Data Base Manager for Trans Union, Chicago, IL. He was a graduate of Hobart High School, Class of 1976, attended Purdue University, received his BS degree from New Hampshire University, and was a Navy veteran with 10 years of service. Michael enjoyed ballroom dancing and poetry.

Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service, 6360 Broadway, Merrillville, Monday from 2-8 pm. Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 from Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Vera Krampen officiating. Services to conclude at the chapel with cremation to follow.
