EILEEN H. SHEPARD Age 58 of Portage, IN, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2005 at the Horton's VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso, IN. Eileen was born in Gary, IN, on August 2, 1946 to Rex A. and Alice Ruth Roll. She was a longtime Portage area resident and a member of the Portage VFW. Eileen is preceded in death by her parents.

Eileen is survived by 4 children: Donna Louderback of Bellevue, Nebraska, Jill Shepard of Valparaiso, IN, Nanette Shepard of Portage, IN, Isaac Shepard of Merrillville, IN; 4 grandchildren, Maegan, Raychel, Javery, and Hunter; 2 sisters, Grace Brown of Elizabethtown, KY, Shirley (Russell) Baumeister of Lake Station, IN; 1 brother, Rex (Brenda) Roll of Burlington, KY; numerous nieces and nephews; a special family friend, Keith Frazier of South Haven, IN.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2005, 11 a.m. at the Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN, with Dr. Kathy Bright officiating.
