OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, NOVEMBER 4, 2006:

FLORENCE M. GAWRYSIAK Merrillville, Indiana/ formerly Hobart, Indiana Age 60, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2006. Florence was a graduate of Hobart High School, Class of 1964. She was President of E & N Pump & Control.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Jones, and her parents-in-law, Stanley and Helen Gawrysiak. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Norbert J. Gawrysiak of Merrillville; son, John J. (Dana Dockins) Gawrysiak of Hobart; daughter, Michelle L. (Ralph Pidgeon) Gawrysiak of Merrillville; grandson, Joseph T. Gawrysiak; mother, Agnes Jones; sisters: Carolyn (late Eldon) Anderson, Sandra (late Larry) Ladd and Sherron (J.D.) Abernathy; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, and many special friends.

Funeral services will be held at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th Street, Hobart, IN on Monday, November 6, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Friends may visit with the family at Burns Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.
