Paula Robinson (St. Germain) - Class Of 1964

Paula St. Germain, 74 of Chesterton, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021. She was born on October 6, 1946 in Chelsea, Massachusetts to Paul and Rita (VanDael) Robinson.

Paula was a 1964 graduate of Hobart High School. At age 20, Paula was a ballroom instructor. She then moved into the insurance and real estate fields working for Prudential in Hobart and then Ginter Real Estate. Paula was a co-owner and manager of Westpoint Lounge in Westville for 19 years. Paula was a Civil War history buff, reading 100’s of books and visiting many historical sites. She loved to travel, some of her favorite trips were to Key West, the Ozarks, and Montreal, Quebec.

Paula was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, guardian and foster mother. She especially loved her grandchildren and enjoyed taking them ice skating and trips to museums, zoos, beach, and to Northern Michigan. Paula also took joy in hosting the family holiday dinners and gatherings.

On May 27, 1988, Paula married her loving husband, Gregory St. Germain who survives along with her step-children, Matthew St. Germain and Jennifer St. Germain; grandchildren, Stephanie, Alexis, and Jayden; and her special cousins: Diane Fredericks, Elaine Bruszewski, and Helen Starkey. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Connie Goldsworthy; step-daughter, Carol St. Germain; granddaughter, Veronica Castillo; and siblings, James, Philip, Helen, Jackie, and Mary.

In following Paula’s requests, cremation will take place with no services.
