Malcom (Mac) had been an Army reservist; owned and operated Brown's Garden and Feed Store; and was a very proud graduate of Purdue University. Was an avid sport spectator and continued to go to almost all of Purdue's football games after graduation almost to the time of his death. He was also present at all of his grandkids sport events. His wife Phyliss preceded him in death. He and I (Gwen) went thru high school together and he was the first boy to tell me that he loved me (in a note he sent me when we were in the 7th grade in Miss Todd's homeroom), but it wasn't until about 50 years later
that we reconnected and got engaged.
