Gale Gray - Class Of 1951

Gale LaJune Gray went home to the Lord on November 12, 2021. She was born on June 2, 1933 to Ervin Gray and Helen Beatrice Larson Grayle.

Gale was preceded in death by her parents; brother Ervin L. Gray Jr.; sister-in-law Myrtle Gray as well as her brother-in-law Melvin Miller. Gale is survived by her sister Hazel A. Miller; nieces Jeanette C. Melis, Marlene J Stewart, Joan Henry (James), Marla Wyant (Mike); nephews Steve Gordon and Mark D. Miller; many great-nephews, great-nieces, and great-great nieces and nephews, as well as extended family.

Gale graduated from Hobart High School in Hobart, IN. She worked several years as a bank teller at National Bank in Gary and Hobart IN. Gale worked various jobs in her life and retired from Viquesney’s Office Supply. Gale was a member of Breden Memorial United Methodist Church, in which she was very active. She loved to decorate the Church.

Visitation for Gale will be held at Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave, Terre Haute, IN 47807, on Thursday, November 18 from 1:00- 3:00 PM with services starting at 3:00 PM. Pastor Deb Moore-Hardin will be officiating. In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to either Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care or Breden Memorial Methodist Church.
