William “Dave” Lovall, age 81 of Hobart, IN passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 26,1945 in Gary to William Dale and Emma Lovall. Dave married Jeanette Bliss in 1961, and they were blessed with 5 children, Kevin (Cyndy) Lovall, Michelle (John) Saklaczynski, Bill (Rebecca) Lovall, Jim (Dawn) Lovall, Pam Lovall.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers; Mike, Jim, Ron, Lee; sister, Norma (Longmore) and granddaughter, Grace Lovall. Dave is survived by all of his children; sister, Carolyn Martakis; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; 2 on-the- way; 2 sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was involved with Hobart Girls Softball and took stats for the Hobart Brickies football team for many years and enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears. Dave retired from LaSalle Steel after 34 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
