Sidney (Sid) Lynn Walker, age 76, of Pharump, passed away on Nov. 4, 2021. He was born on June 10, 1945 in Kansas City Missouri. Parents Jefferson and Jewell (Debord) Walker, both preceded him in death.

Survived by his wife Joyce Ann (Parker) Walker married for 34 years, stepsons Thomas A Pliske Jr Portage, In and Daniel Lee Medley and his wife Amy Medley, of Grovertown, In. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Edward Parker and wife Patty Parker of, Waveland, In. Survived by Aunts, Mildred Cunningham and Vi Debord of California. Had 8 Grandchildren and 5 Great grandchildren, and many loving Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends. Graduated from Hobart High School 1963, worked at US Steel in Gary for 36 years. Vietnam Vet, member of VFW Post 10054 Pahrump, NV. He was a devoted Husband who loved his family and friends. He loved to travel and watching Nascar racing. Laid to rest with Military services at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN on December 9, 2021.
