OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE WEBSITE:

ROBERT E. YODER JR. Hobart/Portage, Indiana Age 64, passed away suddenly Friday, October 10, 2008. He worked for Safety Kleen in Branch Sales. "Bob" loved the beach, golf, Notre Dame football, travel and sports. He loved watching his grand kids play and being with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Yoder; father, Robert Yoder Sr. of Hobart; 2 sons, Steven Andrew (Mary) Yoder of Indianapolis, and Joel Evan (Raemell) Yoder of SC; 2 daughters, Dawn Aileen Jefferson of IL, and Sarah Mischelle (Ivan) Mills of Wheatfield; 1 brother, David (Terri) Yoder of Portage; 1 sister, Carole Sypien of Hobart; 6 grandchildren, Kyle, Tyler, Madison, Ryan, Morgan, and Kevin; and his loving extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Rae Yoder; and granddaughter, Ashley Dawn Jefferson.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Kraft Funeral Service, 370 N. County Line Rd., Hobart. Cremation will follow. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in "Bob's" name to the Heart Association.
