William A. Shroyer, Jr., age 55, of Portage, formerly of Hobart, passed away January 14, 2019. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He loved being a truck driver because he was able to travel and see our countries history. William enjoyed playing video games, especially Farming Simulator and ATC Pro. He was very loved and will be deeply missed.
William was preceded in death by his parents-William, Sr. and Patty Shroyer. He is survived by his sisters-Emma Shroyer, Tammy (Mike) Sigmundi, and Cindy Shroyer-Fox; brothers-Kevin (Jenna) Shroyer, Steven Shroyer; several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may meet directly at Burns Funeral Home, 701 East 7th Street, Hobart, on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. for an IMMEDIATE interment at Calumet Park Cemetery with military honors.
